LIMINAL
This was the second 3D animated film I worked on during my 2nd year studying at Escape Studios, I was Lead Animator and worked with Beatrice Steele to create the storyboards.
Liminal is the story of a child who wakes up to find the hospital empty and inhabited by creatures of the dark.

BELOW - A few of my storyboards from start of production to final the final film, animation done my team members. The characters went through several high stakes experiences all without dialogue so it was crucial that we spent extra time and care into the facial acting in order to convey their thoughts and feelings.
ABOVE - Concept art for the creatures and how they moved around their environment. As we were rendering in Unreal the plan was to create a dynamic shader for the shadow creatures, in my artwork I explored the various contortions the creatures would perform to navigate the hallway.
